After 1.4 update our build started failing with
```Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unexpected non-class file: META-INF/versions/9/kotlin/reflect/jvm/internal/impl/serialization/deserialization/builtins/BuiltInsResourceLoader.class```
Any ideas people what could be the cause?

Same thing. I’m seeing `FirebasePerformancePlugin` classes on my build output logs. Do you use FirebasePerformance? maybe this could be related to it.
