Are you using the camera2 api within your app or are you using a ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE intent?

I bet you didn’t find anything on the Android Developer site. Cause I see this within the first 5 search results by keyword “android camera”. In the “Save the full-size photo” section it show how to save the photo with any filename you want.
