Would you mind explaining why do we/they consider wildcard imports bad ? I know it may not be the right channel for discussing it. But i always thought it doesnt make much difference for compiler and it does not increase readability for other developers.

No one was able to offer a compelling reason to allow them. The IDE manages the import list so why bother with wildcards?
