Kotlin version that is used for building with Gradle (1.1.2-5) differs from the one bundled into the IDE plugin (1.1.2-4). I get this warning. Should I roll back my Kotlin version?

aakaashjois: don't change the gradle, instead Upgrade the Kotlin Plugin

I tried updating plugin many times. But Android Studio loads 1.1.2-4 every time it restarts.

Try uninstall the current version, install the new one and restart again, I faced the same issue Yesterday when Android Studio suddenly prompted me to upgrade the plugin and build.gradle and I did.

I can understand that, switch to Jio 😉

I actually have Jio. But not so reliable in my area. Lot of call drops and 2G data speeds. Can’t even stream music with it.

@aakaashjois Android Studio Canary 4 has a known issue which is breaking the Kotlin pluging upgrade. So we have to wait till C5 to upgrade Kotlin plugin.
