mohamed.hajr: Yep, but don't ditch 2.4 Preview 7 if you had it, and don't ditch 2.3 stable if you had bugs with 2.4 Preview cause 3.0 doesn't work on all projects and the new gradle plugin can be unstable or introduce breaking changes

Additionally you can't use incremental kotlin compilation with 3.0 due to a bug

Curenlty I have 2.3 and Am on macOS  Sierre

<@U2XFSF08G> This could not be simpler, just check the .app has not the same name as your stable version (you can rename it at your will after dragging it to the desktop if the already given name doesn't satisfy you), then you just have to drag it to the /Application folder and open it

<@U3ZLHBTLG>  its already have a different name as it comes with the name Android studio 3.0 preview and i even renamed the stable version to android studio 2.3
