Yes.

Once you unlock your mind, it will be natural. Like OOP, it’s things to repeat and repeat but once you get it, you don’t think about it anymore.

Generics in Java are a monstrosity, grafted into an existing spec in a jack-of-no-trades way. It's not really better in Kotlin.
