Thanks! So my idea is to create a service, like a KUG leader assistant, where I can imagine at least two flows:
âą Help with organizing a meetup. The leader would type in meetup date, title, speakers, description of the talks and other stuff, and the system would automatically generate promo graphics for Meetup, thumbnails for YouTube, maybe even create a meeting on Meetup. Imagination is the limit :) this idea addresses the fact that as a leader I do a lot of tedious work with each meeting
âą Centralized mechanism for Call For Speakers. A simple alternative is e. g. a Google Forms survey where a person willing to give a talk would fill in the details, and then the KUG leader can take it further - but we can take it further. I imagine having a centralized system so that it's possible for the speaker to specify that they want to talk on a specific KUG's meeting, or maybe the ones around my time zone, or worldwide! Then the KUG leaders could choose the topics on the "market". KUG leads could also ask for speakers on a given topic. This idea addresses my first biggest problem as a KUG leader, that is: finding speakers
