OK now I'm in the Flutter Console on my win 7 laptop and I'm at the command line. How do I find out what files etc should be in my flutter directory?

Flutter? Flutter is a framework for iOS, Android and now also web apps. You write your flutter app in dart language not kotlin

In the other post you mention, that you are in school. And probably in the very beginning of programming. If you want to dig more into kotlin I highly recommend to go through a very nice interactive tutorial
