Well, it seems `Kotlin = everyone must switch to Idea`, I mean every team member.

witoldsz: It's just one of those things where the primary development environment is IDEA and that's where most of the development effort is. If it provides the best development experience, why not recommend it? You could say the same for C#, which has first-party support in Visual Studio. Or Swift &lt;-&gt; XCode.
