I've been noticing that some users have
[MOD]
in their name that weren't in the original list of mods. Is there an updated list of mods somewhere, and if these users aren't mods is there any issue with them having that in their name?

Watchout for rogue `[mod]`s! 😄

I guess this is one of those things that discord is way better at

Yeah, Discord is the best for open communities. But I guess it's way too late to migrate now 😕

Yeah I believe we should have a Github repo somewhere with a list of all the mods + the channel they mod. Or a stick post somewhere would also work
h
@Alina Dolgikh [JB] not a bad idea. Can we do this?
e
I'd like something like a pinned or bookmarked message in each channel with that channel's mods, instead of an external site, but either way can work

The general list is pinned to the #announcements and yes I can update the Github page. Pinned messages in channels sound good too

If we see a non mod with
[Mod]
in their name, should we be reporting that to mods, or just leave them be?
z
Not much mods could do about it except report to admins, but that’s probably fine
h
And please, don’t move to Discord 😉
