Spring Boot uses a newer version of almost everything Spring. It would appear that the implementation of RabbitTemplate has changed so that Mockito is no longer able to mock the class.

Given that, it’s not to do with Kotlin. I’d try reaching out to the Spring Community. I believe they’re on Gitter.
