Is there any ongoing work on the Result type to make it more available (without the current restrictions) ? I'm also mostly interested in having Result with the languages improvements mentioned in the "integration into the language" section (https://github.com/Kotlin/KEEP/blob/master/proposals/stdlib/result.md#integration-into-the-language)

This channel is for proposing new ideas for Kotlin, not for asking questions about it. Such questions should either be in #general, or in an appropriate specific channel if one exists.

There should be a #language-evolution channel for discussion like this. It doesn't deserve to be buried/muted in #general, but it's not a proposal

I was locked out of the kotlinlang slack team since I sent that (got a new phone, but the authenticator didn't transfer over). I eventually gave up trying to get an admin to reset my credentials and made a new account.

Now that I'm back, I've made that #language-evolution channel, as @louiscad suggested.

If anyone wishes to talk about the evolution of Kotlin without making proposals, feel free to hop into there!
