👋 Hello everyone, hope you’re doing great 🎄 I’ve published an article on how to make a CV It will be useful for both ordinary Muggles and experienced wizards 🧙‍♂️ There are rumors that only real masters can press the like button 😉 .

Is this Kotlin related?

I can attest that simplifying the resume/CV format, making it text-only and standardizing the format/fonts will help enormously getting your CV in front of the hiring manager. Most companies now use some form of resume/CV parser and, if your document is filled with images that parse will be lass than perfect or not work at all. If your resume/CV is not parsed - no one will ever see it, it just gets dropped.

@gammax asked if it was kotlin related you obviously don’t answer his concern (which i happen to share)

Dear @gammax and @nfrankel This is not Kotlin-related article, so my answer is no. This is a common topic that might be useful for many programmers that’s why I decided to post it here. Hope this didn’t upset you both.

Nope absolutely 🙂 I honestly opened your article and I hoped to find some Kotlin/LaTeX generator. Sadly this was not the case.

There are a variety of topics that are useful for many programmers but are not specifically Kotlin related. I just think we should try to keep the #feed polished and Kotlin focused. There are other channels/medium where you can post this and you can find even more interested people to spark a discussion 👍

Hm, sounds logical 👍 Last time I’ve been posting something in channels: android/education/random people redirected me to the #feed channel for articles like that, so that’s why I’m here with my articles 🙂

🤝 I’d be very thankful if someone could recommend a place you were talking about 😉

This channel is good for posting articles about Kotlin, this one instead would have been more suitable for #random
