I like your project but seriously… you’re spamming too much! Isn’t there any admin around to report this behavior?

About our opensource project that we are trying to attract developers to. But the community is too toxic for it.

Unfortunately I do not work at Facebook or other giant US companies that can attract developers to their shitty projects in one click by paying millions of dollars for advertisement. That is why 1 time in a month I try to recommend our project to the community. The only thing we get is hate, but that is fine. Some people see it and use it.

No, the community doesn’t like Slack spam 🙂

Look, I like your project, I think it’s very well done! When I read about it I starred it and added to favorites. It’s not true that you only receive hate, simply many are being annoyed by the repeated announcements. It strikes out because no other lib maintainer is doing so. Try to advertise in another way: post about enhancements or new releases, like many others are doing in #feed. Try to write some blog post showing how to use diKTat, so you can attract more interested people.

@akuleshov7 The community is not toxic, but indeed you are pushing those messages like weekly or be-weekly in all possible channels. Personally, I just do not understand why would I need Diktat, so I ignore them, but I can see why it could seem invasive.
