Not speaking for the author, but sometimes I feel that it sucks to never write in my mother tongue.

Understandable. But you risk losing a LOT of potential readers.

@uhe totally. Which is why if you want to do both, you have to think hard about which kind of articles you write in your mother language. Evergreen articles that targets either beginners or local clients that you will meet in your country are a good fit.

Well, in French anyway, half of the article would still be English words so there’s really little point 🙂

In English, 40% of the words come from French, so that's also fine 🙂
