Hi everyone! Quizlet is looking for Android engineers (mid-level and senior) to build the smartest, tools we can imagine to help students learn -- grounded in learning science research. All of our new Android code is Kotlin, and if you're excited about Kotlin Multiplatform, we've been using it in production to share some key business logic across iOS, Android, and JS for quite a while! JetBrains just posted a case study about us as part of their Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile dev portal refresh, and I spoke at droidcon SF and droidcon Berlin last year about our experiences with multiplatform as well 😊 Some quick notes: • CompanyQuizletLocations: San Francisco, CA (HQ) or Denver, CO USA • Remote: We are remote until at least 2021, but are looking for folks to be in either SF or Denver once things settle down. • Full time: Yes. • Visa sponsorship: Transfers only at this time • Hiring process: Phone screens, and then a (virtual) on-site consisting of relevant on-the-job skills, including real Android work (and no esoteric logic puzzles). Also -- if you're interested in how Covid-19 has impacted Remote Learning (especially with regards to the education gap)… so are we! Check out our State of Remote Learning Report 2020 to see our research on the subject. Happy to chat in DMs or a thread -- I've been involved with Quizlet for quite a while, and I started the Android codebase as an intern over 7 years ago 🙈

Interesting, but It's there a possibility to be a full remote for devs living outside US?
