Hey everyone. We have an opening into sexy Kotlin-only project in my team in Berlin. We do Server-Driven UI and Android team writes both client and backend code (backend is optional, but very encouraged). We use Kotlin everywhere for the last 4-5 years. Shared Kotlin libraries between Android, Backend and iOS(almost ;)). Shared Kotlin libraries between serveral Andriod projects. We also write lambdas in javascript, try MPP/Flutter and do innovation days several times a month to try new things. Non technical stuff: modern office (with air conditioning) close to Checkpoint Charlie, free coffee/fruits/water, free lunch, and many other benefits. I am the tech lead for the Android team, there is also a team lead leading both iOS and Android 😃 You can ask me all the technical questions you want. PS. We also have iOS position open if you are interested. Tech stack is also cool. PPS. • Blue Card visa sponsorship is possible for the right candidate. • We are quite flexible with work from home some days a week • There are always challenges to tackle, meaning, app is far from being finished feature-wise, so not only bugfixing/support

Freelancers too?

03/04/2020, 9:28 AM
This position is for a permanent contract, not freelancers. Freelancers can send me their CVs and we will contact if we would need a help of a freelancer.
Hiring round is still open (even though Coronavirus forced everyone remote). Ready to answer questions in private messages. Please no freelancers. Thanks

So for hired employees, would be allowed to work remotely for a while? Till the COVID-19 thing ends?

We are all fully remote now. So you need to be hired on-site, go to the office in regular times.
With COVID-19 we are all remote now
In regular times we usually do home office 1 day a week, it's totally fine
