Yes, but do you really need 5 years of experience in one particular area to work in team on some application? I mean if someone work just 1 or 2 year only on Android isn’t it long enough, especially on relevant stack/area Because not so much from my Android experience of 5-7 years ago I can use now directly, sometimes it’s even harmful, most of things are changes
I also interview people with many years of experience, and they very often has much worse understanding of modern Android development and ecosystem than people with 1-2 years of experience

Android is full of pit falls. Lifecycle, Fragments, ... I guess the point is a high proficiency in Android.
But I guess it's a good point for the other position. It is not sooo android specific. Thanks Andrey

Work with both of them is dramatically changed last year with new AndroidX

I can freelance. I have 5+ years of experience. And good knowledge of Kotlin, Rx, Dagger, android arch components, i recenltly used koin in my prod project. @uli
