Touchlab is hiring mid-level Android-focused mobile engineers. We’re remote friendly. US-only for now (sorry). Who is Touchlab? Well, pop over to the #multiplatform and #kotlin-native channels. We have been deeply invested in the Multiplatform vision, open source contributions, and the developer ecosystem. Our current roles are not specifically Multiplatform, but we would be significantly more interested in candidates who have some Multiplatform experience, or are at least interested in learning. We have some new Multiplatform work starting soon, and most of our current clients are in discussions to explore the tech. That is our future. Comp: $100k-120k + bonus, but flexible. Remote comp may be a little more variable, but can discuss. Non-comp considerations: We’re heavily involved in the mobile dev community, including running content for Droidcon NYC (next week!) with a large Multiplatform track. We’ve been contributing significantly to the open source world around KMP and are looking to increase that contribution. It’s a developer founded and focused org. We’re entering an interesting time and there’s lots to do! Link: https://hire.withgoogle.com/public/jobs/touchlab You can ping me on slack as well if you want to discuss. Thanks!

We are also looking for freelancers/contractors, which I forgot to mention.

Do freelancers/contractors need to be US based too?

I have the same query. Does it requires freelance based in US?

Chatting internally about the freelancer/US situation. For the immediate things we’re working on, yeah US-only, but supporting outside US is a priority, if we can sort that out legally/logistically.

Great. I'll appreciate if you keep me in the loop when it's sorted. Thanks!
