Benefits of not disclosing hiring salary forks? There are companies, who disclose much more, than that (https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/) and are still quite successful. But I really think there is way too much debate about it and we’re missing here one moment: salary fork in the vacancy does not have to be the ceiling for the already hired people.

Yep, totally agree. I've also mentioned that (the idea not the talk or GL example) in the original discussion.

The cool thing about it, as Job van der Voort told during his keynote (2nd day), that all the salary negotiations are pretty much done in a PR. 🤓
