OLX Berlin is looking for a freelancing Kotlin Backend Engineer for a period of 2 months to help us with the initial iteration of a new service. Ideally with Docker/Dropwizard/JDBI experience and good stakeholder management skills and physical presence in our office in Berlin (85 EUR / hour).

I don’t think mocking people submitting Kotlin jobs, even if not ideally presented, really helps to grow Kotlin demand in the industry.

@nfrankel not sure where your assumptions come from. my team almost exclusively exists of java engineers and our company invested in training them in Kotlin. I did not even specify anything about Kotlin experience, fully knowing that there is not much of it out there. Still, some people played around with it a bit, and those are the people I am looking for. Additionally, this is quite a unique opportunity as I see most companies using Kotlin for Android development, whereas my team is writing backend services with it.
