I stumpled upon the fact that the new java-time module doesnt use a TIMESTAMP column for Instants on MySQL. There are a couple of issues about it also. What are the odds of that changing ?

Java-time doesn't know about any DB-types. What DB-framework are you talking about? Plain JDBC?

exposed-java-time

I guess it's a historical issue. It worth to support both old and add new TIMESTAMP column. I will take a look.

Thanks. I am available you would like a second opinion on anything. We are heavy users of TIMESTAMP in mariadb.
