@orangy I guess I am a little late to the party... anyways you are right with the TreeView API is still pretty basic and like you noticed still need some love, I think you point are all valid... As fare as breaking the API I think in this case we should go fore it as long as we bump the maven version (what do you thing @edvin) ....considering your ideas I think as @Ruckus pointed out github issues or PRs are the best to keep track of them (I also like your suggestion of running init code the first time of adding a listener 😉 so please send an PR 😜 ).. In case we miss an Issue or not respond just ping us here again.. sometimes it helps to also mention us directly (@edvin, @Ruckus, @carlw, @nimakro, @kastork, @amanda.hinchman-dominguez .. sorry if I missed anybody) so we get a notification 😉
