<@U78L28DMX> there's a shift in the main work area when you select this.  try keeping the border present at all times and use an opacity setting as the highlight.  that way, the layout manager won't be involved when you do the highlight.  adding a border changes the dimensions and triggers a resize

thanks Carl - work has been rather overbearing this week.  Trying to work on api event handling in different classes, only it's the hellish version because a portion of clients use internet explorer
