Hey folks does anyone know why compileKotlin is ultra slow on IntelliJ? It seems to be fast enough when running through the CLI.

Are you using the same JDK to run Gradle from IntelliJ and from CLI ? Also check your memory configuration in IntelliJ settings for Gradle
