Hey, tabs are more efficient in memory and in disk space. It's only one character vs four.
You're actually reducing size of your files by using tabs.

I actually prefer spaces, but that is truly an argument that I've heard before.

I just convert to my format when pulling and convert to target format when pushing. Why can't we live along?
