I still have no feedback on https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-18485 and kotlin-dsl 0.10.2 does not seem to fix it. Any thoughts?

Have you tried Gradle Kotlin DSL with the Kotlin 1.1.4 EAP? Some Gradle Kotlin DSL issues related to IntelliJ are fixed, not sure which ones.
