I gave https://adventofcode.com/2020/day/11 a try and this is my solution. It works, but i'm not happy with it. any ideas how to improve the readability ? or is functional style bound to be unreadable ?

I don’t have any suggestions, but you might want to checkout some of the solutions in #advent-of-code for day 11 to get some ideas
