@pollux- Yep. I mentioned it in the post and linked to the talk as well.

I have learned most from Jake Wharton’s talk 

“The Future of Dependency Injection with Dagger 2”▾

 so I’m going to use his example to start, as I think it makes a lot of sense to your typical Android developer even though it’s a pure java app.
