How likely do you think it is that they accept that proposal?

Jet-brains and the compiler team have not pronounced themselves yet most likely because they are flooded with work but we are hopeful and have some thoughts for alternatives in case it doesn't make it

Andrey Breslav said on KotlinConf 2018 he wanted typeclasses in the language but first replied with “maybe” so :man-shrugging:

Hey as long as it’s a thoughtful, useful design I’d be happy. Is there a similar proposal for higher kinded types?
