you write Kotlin for the server @Hans Ellegard?

no. i don't know if you meant writing kotlin-language-server or writing server backends, but i do neither. 🙂 i develop automotive applications, straddling native and managed code, and lately i've been doing the managed part in Kotlin
i've been using AndroidStudio (with IdeaVim) for most of the managed code, but it falls short in a few areas, and that's where i'm trying to use Neovim with kotlin-language-server instead (as i've been using vim/neovim for native code)
