Is there a task to notarize an app? In the notarization tutorial the createDistributable is mentioned which creates an .app file, but i only see notarize gradle tasks for pkg and dmgs

Does Apple accept apps for notarization? I doubt it.

Yes, you can upload a zip and they'll notarize all the bundles found inside. That's what Conveyor does (which has such a task, make notarized-mac-app will drop a fully notarized .app directory into the output dir).

I was able to notarize a zip via the terminal. I createReleaseDistributable and then zip the .app, and then xcrun notarytool submit .zip --apple-id ${APPLE_ID} --password ${APPLE_ID_PASSWORD} --team-id ${TEAM_ID} --wait .
