Hi! Please, I don't know if I understand the organization in YouTrack 🙏 Please, could someone confirm if this change https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-37255 is going to be available for
1.4-M3
? It seems it solves the issue with the backend IR which is broken since 1.3.7x: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-37482 Thanks in advance!
g
yes, it means that currently this feature planned to be released with 1.4-M3

was planned for m2, but probably was not ready before it was closed for new fixes

Thank you so much @gildor 🙌 Yes, it's not available for M2 because I tried it. Please, do you know if there is a roadmap about it. I mean, I'd like to know when 1.4 will be released. Thanks again!
g
As usual with Kotlin releases, no release dates Will be released when will be ready, M2 probably will be released soon But if you check Kotlin 1.3 releases dates, release of 1.3 was after 2 months after release of 1.3-M2, so 1.4 will probably have similar timeline, but I think it depends on found bugs and other circumstances

@Rachel I’m curious, is this needed for a particular library you are working on? I’m curious about the context of this bug fix and features it will unblock. UPDATE: It seems the very next thread also discusses it as per this library’s README.md. libraryhttps://github.com/nhachicha/sample-KMP-compiler-plugin/

Hi @Sean Najera 🙌 it's needed for Arrow Meta: https://kotlinlang.slack.com/archives/CJ699L62W/p1590834948212600
