Hey folks! This year, as @Sebastian Aigner mentioned in the above blog post/video, we’re providing a GitHub Template Repository to let you quickly create an Advent of Code project within your GitHub account. Long story short, it’s available here with a README explaining what’s going on (FYI, there’ll be a giveaway going on). I’m also writing this note to ask you for a favor – I’ll be happy with any feedback before the actual contest begins so I can provide relevant patches right before. Thanks!

it looks like it's set up as a library project, expecting users to run individual days from the IDE? fair I guess, but I'll stick with my launcher that works on CI :)

@ephemient That’s correct. This template is supposed to be as minimal as possible. Personally, I’m also adding more and more options to my instance, previous years, external tools, but this is the whole idea – start with us and then follow your path. 🙂

I find it interesting that you include
md5()
even though it hasn't appeared since Advent of Code 2016, but no harm blob wink
