Since we have considerably reduced the size of all libs and the 1.0 series at the moment only includes fx, core and optics we decided it’s feasible to reunite to get again more traction. Before, cross repo PRs where causing a lot of issues for maintaining simple things like the Arrow site. Before we went to multirepo mostly because the compilation time of some modules almost made prohibitive to have more than a few libs there but with Kinds gone in 0.13. and a bunch of redundant apis also gone include the kapt preprocessors which where the slowest thing our size is going down and monorepo it’s more confortable again.
