If you'd prefer I make them consistently authored by 'glamm' just revert and I'll put everything together from an entirely separate machine. Messing around switching git credentials on OS X is aggravating, at best

Git allows for local config of user inform by local, I mean specific to a single repository. Can also amend author on existing commits. So you could keep existing work assuming it's on a branch, fix up author and force push.
