please please please tag releases in github

I know to look at the read me _now_, but I won't be the last idiot who rushes to the releases/tags section to see a disparity between the version I'm using right now and the version github claims to be the latest release. At the very least remove the other tags

No need to remove any tags, tags for dev builds are very imortant for reports and testing
