It seems to need it. Current design is not quite intuitive. If there is some way to look into preliminary design, I would like to join the discussion or even contribute if there will be some free time.

Not yet, we’ve designed some basic APIs and implemented a prototype, but it’s too early. I think in a week or two it will appear as a branch in kotlinx.io repo
