Are there any plans to have more configurable material 3 components? Like the Slider? In M3 there's so much internal / private things that copy pasting to edit is no more an option.

Are those configurations part of the MD spec, or are those internal implementation details that would allow deviating from that spec? If the later, then the consistent messaging has been that such customizations will hinder the evolution of this particular design library in the future.

There's no real M3 slider spec :( And all Google apps for media do not respect MD spec for the slider since it's way too big.
