Next to the @Preview annotation there used to be a gear icon in the gutter so that you could fiddle with different preview args. Did that go away intentionally?

You can toggle “Enable @Preview picker” in Settings - Experimental.

ohh I got it. I think @Preview won’t work in an android library module. It needs an app module I guess.

Yes Preview picker is still experimental as we are looking to make some tweaks to the Preview API
