Next to the @Preview annotation there used to be a gear icon in the gutter so that you could fiddle with different preview args. Did that go away intentionally?

You can toggle “Enable @Preview picker” in Settings - Experimental.

@Preview

won’t work in an android library module. It needs an app module I guess.

Yes Preview picker is still experimental as we are looking to make some tweaks to the Preview API

And Deploy Preview from library module should be fixed as of Chipmunk C2
