Might sound stupid, but does anyone have any tricks to remembering arrangement vs alignment? I find it to be like plugging in a USB cable... takes at least 2 or 3 tries to guess the one that I want. 😅

Are you using android studio? The suggestions should give you the right answer straight away.

I remember arrangement is the main axis. Alignment is the alternate axis.

Arrangement: How to use the space? => main axis
Alignment: On what “gravity” I should align my content? => cross axis

Sorry no native english speaker. but in my head it makes sense 🙂 Difference is probably that arrangement is “spatial”, vs alignment is “put it to this or that side”
