I recently spent three months developing a complex widget using the primitive way 😭 Looking forward to rewrite it again. Great news though!

It's promising, but there are some pretty significant missing pieces. For instance not being able to connect which widgetid a composable is for.

The compose part is also missing features you can do with RemoteViews. Like using weights for instance. Something Column/Row in regular compose support.

However, it can all be solved, and for what it can do it's way better than RemoteViews. Just need a bit more polishing and features 🙂
