IMO I think this is going to be the library to use when implementing "carousels" that are popular in so many apps now. This is a great alternative vs pagers (which I've come to learn are pretty much only supposed to be used when you have a single item fully showing on the screen vs what you see above, which is a true carousel of items) Maybe Chris Banes can chime in on a proper distinction on when to use one or the other?

Yep, that's pretty much the summary. They're very related:
Pagers = containers where each item is centered and takes up the majority of the space, and snaps.
Carousels tend to be just scrolling containers of any kind of item, with some snapping added in.
