Is it possible to modify the background color and bar color of the bottom control section? I'm using a Pixel 4a.

I've never seen any app that edited the color of that bar, so I guess it's not possible

You can make your app "edge to edge" with Accompanist insets and insets UI

You can change the black color you see but you cannot change the white color in your photo. The white bar actually will change colors based on what's behind it to ensure that people can see it.
