• Compose is now supported in beta versions of Android studio. This will make it easier for my team to adopt!
• Widgets are getting a compose library in the future
• Compose is written exclusively in kotlin, and the kotlin talk talked about the new kotlin compiler and how it should increase speed. Right now typing in the IDE is so painful so focus there is nice.
• All the compose intergrations that are already ready. hilt, VM, activity, fragment, nav, liveData, etc.
