04/08/2021, 7:53 AMAny pointers to why AS Canary on my laptop (MacBook Pro., 16GB Memory, Core i5) get stuck at completing analysing source files. This has been happening since I added Compose dependencies to the project and across multiple updates of the IDE. I have had to do “Invalidate Caches and Restart” countless of times to resolve it, but the issue returns few minutes after each one. Any ideas how to fix this please?

04/08/2021, 7:58 AMWhen you open a file does the editor hang on “Analyzing…“? and does it take a long time for errors to appear? I had a very similar issue recently

04/08/2021, 8:08 AMYes, it hangs on “Analyzing…“. Initially, it would eventually show an error toast (can’t remember the message in the toast), but lately, it just shows “Analyzing…” forever, and the source file does not get all the IDE functionalities like Syntax highlighting, code completion, etc.

04/08/2021, 8:13 AMUnfortunately had to do a complete reinstall, I tried a whole bunch of stuff but never managed to fix it. Pretty frustrating
