Any ETA for the Compose beta02 release?👀

We typically release new builds of Compose roughly every two weeks on Wednesdays, subject to change if/when things break 😛
That would put next release on this Wednesday if everything goes to plan.

@jim Awesome! What kind of changes/improvements will it contain?
👀 1
Is there some place where we can see the upcoming build changes?
Changes merged a week prior to the release date will likely be the ones in the upcoming release

I really need to learn how to navigate gerrit...
@jim for example. Is there an easy way to see all merged and sort by date merged? I don't see a date merged column for example if I want to see what got in a ~week ago
Ooh. Looks like the search bar is actually pretty helpful in gerrit: I've got this, but still looking to see how to see stuff merged about a week ago and older
project:platform/frameworks/support status:merged

@Orhan Tozan nice. How'd you find that? This looks like the "release train" for the upcoming release since everything is a week back it seems

AFAIK we are still on track for a release today. Keep in mind we work in Mountain View, California, so when I say Wednesday, I mean PST time.

@jim That's great! What is the usual release time there?

Usually morning-ish once everyone has had their coffee and is ready to push the various buttons.

Done, published.

We've been working from home for the last year due to the pandemic. Part of me wishes we could WFH forever, but another part of me really looks forward to the day when we're allowed to return to the office.
