just writing the issue here without mentioning anyone usually works. Lots of Google folk is reading here almost everyday.

For stuff like that where something non-urgent is clearly amiss, you can just file a bug directly with our bug tracker: <https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/new?component=612128>.  Then someone will triage it and hopefully fix it eventually.

This channel is consumed by a decently large number of people, so it is better used for things which either require urgent attention or which warrant some community discussion.
