I’ve been playing with Jetpack Compose the past few months so decided to release a project that shows examples of how you would do common Android things the Jetpack Compose way. Each example is fairly self contained and the hope is that you can learn Compose by just going through the examples and reading through the comments. Github - Examples in the thread 👇🏼

There are more examples apart from these, but here’s a flavor of what to expect!
Also wanted to thank all the contributors here who’ve been kind enough to share their explorations with compose 🙏🏼 Especially everyone from the Google team for being willing to give us such an early preview and for being super receptive to feedback!
I would love to hear any feedback that you might have about the project as I’m looking to improve this! Especially people who are new here and trying to get started with Compose!
Here’s the Twitter thread where I shared some more context behind this project -

Nice work! I like the Q&A form of it, illustrated with gifs. Looks easily digestible 👍

Great job. It works fine with compose 0.1.0-dev08 also.

I’m literally working on upgrading it to dev08. There are a few examples that are breaking and I’m actively working on fixing them. Will most likely finish and push it tonight!
