The last update to AS Dolphin kinda bricked it for me, now all it says when I launch it is this (see pic, running on MacOS).
Anyone got the same behavior? Reinstalling and deleting the “AndroidStudioPreview2021.3” folder inside
~/Library/Application Support
doesn’t fix this.

As you say this is an update, presumably you've already got Java installed. Does it match the version AS is using (specified in Gradle settings)?

I currently have installed all 3 versions of AS: (Bumblebee, Chipmunk and Dolphin).
The first 2 work flawlessly, the 3rd one doesn’t.
Either there’s a bug or maybe there has been some changes in how it locates the JVM (even though I think AS bundles a specific JVM with it so it doesn’t require one on the local system).

Sure, but the last two of those three aren't release versions, Dolphin is alpha, isn't it? It could easily be a bug, particularly as the problem is on MacOS.

There's are some really bad bugs with Dolphin C2. We have a fix for it but will show up in C3.

I can confirm Dolphin C3 fixed this issue. Thanks!
